Bhoomi Pooja is performed to please the Vaastu Purusha Swamy and Bhoomi Devi. This pooja is the most important to be performed before starting any construction activity on the site. By doing this pooja we take the permission and seek forgiveness from Bhoomi Devi as during construction we disturb the earth’s equilibrium.
This pooja is performed by invoking the Vaastu Purushan & Bhoomi Devi, and mantras for Ganapathy, Navagraha, and Vaastu are chanted and the pooja is performed in the northeast corner of the Plot or the Land.
When to Perform Bhoomi Pooja?
The date for performing the Pooja is fixed using the Vaastu time which comes maximum twice in a month.
